Quality standards

VALID Nutrition products follow a common manufacturing standard that is based upon the principles of ISO 22000:2005 Food Safety Management Systems. This requires all manufacturing sites to follow a documented set of procedures that define the quality and safety standards for each product and the conditions under which they are produced. A fundamental requirement of this approach is for the implementation of HACCP as the primary tool in food safety management.

Our production sites adhere to the relevant standards and guidelines issued by the Codex Alimentarius Commission of the UN Food and Agriculture Organisation and World Health Organisation which includes general codes of practice for food safety and hygiene as well as specific standards for raw materials and foods for infants and children.

VALID Nutrition branded ready-to-use foods are supplied to the major international NGOs and local government ministries. Factories are subjected to regular internal and external technical audits to ensure high standards are consistently achieved.
